Screening, diagnosis, treatment: active surveillance, medication, radical prostatectomy. This is one of my main specialties, with decades of experience.
Kidney cancer
Investigation and surgical treatment of kidney tumours. This was the subject of my habilitation.
Benign prostatic enlargement
Urinary symptoms such as frequent urination or a weak stream. Investigation and medication.
Kidney stones
Investigation of the kidney area (e.g. after a colic attack). Helping smaller stones pass spontaneously. ESWL treatment or endoscopic stone removal.
Urinary tract infections
Recurrent cystitis, urogenital inflammation. Investigation and targeted treatment.
Incontinence
Involuntary leakage of urine. Not only women are affected — it can also occur in men with age and after certain surgeries. Investigation, and treatment options ranging from pelvic floor training and medication to surgery when needed.
Annual urology screening
For those over 45, even without symptoms. One hour, and you'll know where you stand.
I've been working as a urologist for decades.
I graduated from the Medical School in Debrecen in 1987. I became a board-certified urologist in 1991, and (after a detour at the Department of Surgery) I've worked in this field ever since. At the Department of Urology, University of Debrecen Clinical Centre, I work as associate professor and head of department, and I teach. My research work is focused mainly on kidney and prostate cancer. At the private clinics you receive high-quality urological care: a thorough work-up, honest conversation, and adequate treatment.
In 1998 I received the Best Oral Presentation award at the European Congress of Surgery, in 2011 and 2012 the Magyar Urológia journal's best publication award, and in 2021 the József Pintér Award. I've been a member of the Hungarian Urological Society since 1987, and of the European Association of Urology (EAU) since 2002.
