This notice explains what personal data is processed when you use the berczicsaba.hu website (the "Website"), for what purpose and on what legal basis, for how long, and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the applicable Hungarian data protection act (Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information).
The Website is informational only: it contains no contact form and does not itself collect health (patient) data. Appointment booking and all enquiries take place directly through the listed private clinics (Magnus Medical, UD youMed), in their own systems and under their own privacy notices. The processing described here relates only to the operation of the Website.
The Website contains no contact form: it requires no registration and collects no name, email address, phone number or any other personal data supplied by you. There is no messaging facility on the Website.
When the Website is opened, the server — as with any website — writes a technical log entry that may include your IP address, the address of the page requested, your browser type and the time of the request. This data is needed for the secure and error-free operation of the Website.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) — the controller's legitimate interest in operating and securing the Website and preventing abuse. Retention: technical log entries are kept according to the hosting provider's normal logging practice, for at most 30 days. Log data is not combined with any other data and is not used to identify you.
The Website serves its typefaces and every other file from its own server, with no third-party provider involved. The single exception is the embedded map showing the clinics' locations:
The clinics' locations are shown on the homepage using embedded Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). When a map loads, Google receives your browser's IP address and the technical data needed to render the map, and may set cookies. The maps use loading="lazy", so they load only once a visitor scrolls them into view. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
The Website sets no cookies of its own and currently uses no traffic/analytics measurement code (e.g. Google Analytics). Should this change in the future, this notice will be updated and — where required — supplemented with a cookie notice and a consent banner.
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding the personal data we process about you. Requests can be sent using the contact details given in section 1 (through the clinics); we respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the GDPR or applicable Hungarian law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, or bring proceedings before a court:
You may also bring court proceedings before the competent Hungarian regional court ("törvényszék") of the controller's registered seat, or, at your choice, of your own place of residence or habitual stay.
The controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data processed against unauthorised access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion or destruction, as well as accidental loss or damage. The Website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
The controller reserves the right to update this notice, in particular following a change in law or in how the Website operates (e.g. a new service or tracking code being introduced). The current version is always available on this page; for significant changes, we will highlight this on the Website.
